OMB Peezy has become an important character on the hip-hop scene. OMB Peezy is under the management of 300 Entertainment. With tracks like Porch and When I Was Down which were made available in 2017, OMB Peezy has already made waves. In the same year, his debut collection Loyalty over Love was released. He had already become popular after he dropped Lay Down, a single with a music clip. OMB Peezy began rapping in his teens, drawing the influences of Southern rappers like Kevin Gates Soulja Slim & Masta P. Peezy was in his teen years when he started to make serious noise with his music, dropping the blistering single Lay Down in 2016. In the Bay Area, it was E-40 which signed Peezy for his 300 Entertainment/Sick Wid It labels after Nef The Pharaoh performed the song. Peezy relocated to Sacramento in the year 2017. Peezy released his first singles The Porch, and the When I Was down prior to dropping Humble Beginnings which was his first EP. Peezy had a slew singles released in 2018 and also the Young & Reckless mixtape which was a collaboration with Sherwood Marty. He also released his own mixtape Loyalty vs Love. Preacher to the Streets, his first full-length release in April of 2019, came out. In two years he released Too Deep for Tears, which features King Vonblac Youngsta as well as Rylo Rod, among others. He released In the Meantime 2 with Drum Dummie in 2021, and Misguided in 2022 along with DJ Drama.
